" Consider The Lillie's "

XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Jesus says in Matthew 6:28, to consider the Lillie's of the field, how they grow;they toil not, neither do they spin::

When I think of a Lilly, I think of Gods beautiful creation in all its loveliness, beauty and splendor. The Lord is trying to show us something through his creation..............

First, Identify little things with God's care. Can we make a lily? or a sun? Can we make a drop of dew? or hang the stars in the sky? God cares about the smallest most insignificant things. The very hairs of our head are numbered (Matthew 10:30). Why would he take such care?...because we are important to him...

Next, look on things beneath, as well as on things above. Look for God when you see the ocean sand or dust in the desert. The dust is alive with the life of God; He created it....and greater yet, he formed man out of the dust of the earth. (Gen. 2:7). We were made in his own image. We are his workmanship. The Bible tells us in Isaiah 49:16, that he has engrave us in the palms of his hands.....we are precious to Him....

Thirdly, Have faith in your God. Think of a God who would clothe the grass upon the earth and provide for the Lillie's, and forget the child? never!....It is impossible! Let a Lilly detach itself from its root, and it will perish. So with man, let him cut himself off from God , and he too, will perish and become as a withered and driven leaf. We are shown through God's creation that we need to Trust Him. If his creation can trust him for their very substance and life, how much greater should we...whom he bought with his own blood.

Our Heavenly Father, wants us to understand, that we are much more important to him than the lillies or the dust or the stars. We are made after his own image.(Gen 1:27). He loves us and will take care of our needs. In Matt. 6 :25-31. Trust him with your life....He has done a great job with his creation and he will do much, much more for you...whom he died for.....

I always liked the part about the lilies of the field - they toil not, neither do they spin. I'd like to be a lily. :)
